Hmmmmm, first blog post.......what to say, what to say.......ummmmmm, Howdy Y'all?

There are all sorts of blogs out there and quite a few good ones on Second Life (see the blogroll in the sidebar for some that I like), so why am I even considering throwing yet another one out there?

I guess because I have grown to love the platform that is Second Life, it has a lot of potential and there are really quite a lot of things to see and do. I just feel like I'd like to contribute, somehow.

How? Well.........

I like to explore and find new places, so I hope to bring you some posts on the ones that I find interesting.

I like to build and script and explore some of the more creative aspects of Second Life, so I hope to bring you some places and resources to help those of you who are also interested in this sort of thing. And with time, I hope to showcase some of the things I end up doing in Second Life along these lines, and perhaps even do a tutorial or two myself.

I like to hang out with my friends, dance, party and listen to music, so I hope to show you some of the places I like and find entertaining.

And, along the way, I expect that there will be other topics that come up from time to time that interest me enough to want to comment on them, so expect that too.

How often will I be making new blog posts? Well, I'd like to do something every week, though realistically that might not happen so I'm shooting for a post at least every two weeks, though I will try for more. Initially, I have a few ideas for posts so I'll probably throw several out there fairly quickly and then settle into a routine. With any luck, I won't be just talking to myself and the posts will actually be interesting enough that people will read them but my main thought is to create this for myself, as a journal or history of my Second Life, so as long as I have fun creating the posts they'll keep coming, even if I'm the only on reading them.
